Happy New Year! For this week’s AstroTarot presentation, Lunarcraft looked at the whole of 2022. Starting as usual with general indications, then moving on to specific indications for each of the star signs and the final part will be to look at the Tarot.

For this week’s AstroTarot, I will be looking at the full year ahead 2022. As usual, I will start off with the more general stuff, moving on to the specifics for you, Leo and then finally drawing the tarot cards.
Basically, 2022 is going to be a really good year. There’s a lot going on astrologically, and most of it is coming from Jupiter, the lucky planet. As planets move in the zodiac and bring their energies to the houses, or the sign that they stop in, the energy of the moon is what actually triggers the energies to work. While we’re on about the moon, in partnership with Jupiter, there should be a return to much happier times, also the potential to lift the global economy out of the slump that it has descended into.
Looking at other partnerships, in February, the 18th of February to be precise, Jupiter meets up with Uranus. Jupiter brings with it joy and happiness, Uranus brings change, but together, we should be able to see a return to better things, greater freedom. Heck with being trapped in our present circumstances for too long, so it should be a welcomed break. Just to set that into a wider context, Aquarius is concerned with humanity generally. And Aquarius is going to team up with Saturn who brings tough lessons. Be aware that that particular partnership is going to continue right through to 2023. But what it should result in is the building blocks for us to return to normal, whatever that looks like nowadays, will be put in place and be ready to be built on and expanded as time goes on.
In April, roundabout, the 12th and 13th Jupiter team up with Neptune and the indications are that the world will wake up to the fact that spirituality and meditation are potentially life changes. So be ready to be bombarded with reminders about the benefits of meditation. Meditation will lead to the more spiritual side. But that’s not all they bring together. There should be some amazing opportunities for travel. For people to dream big, to go on spiritual adventures, to make connections that be strong as say soulmates. Also, get ready to experience, see, even create massive, huge manifestations. All that generosity, all that good stuff is counterbalanced by the possibility that things could be either extremely positive or extremely negative. Remember what I said previously, that Neptune is the master of illusion. What I’m hoping, what I’m praying will happen is that Jupiter, the planet of abundance, the planet of joy, will balance out Neptune’s deceptiveness. If you’ve become aware of any negativity building around you, deal with it, keep a tight reign on it.
In May, Jupiter takes on the role of being an amplifier when teaming up with Pluto. Pluto can be mischievous. Pluto is all about transformation and what could well come out from this particular pairing is that a healing crisis could be triggered. It’s too soon yet to know just how that will turn out. It’s possible that it could relate to the healing of mental issues, healing of physical issues, healing of relationships or even healing of the planet. Things will become clearer as time progress. However, one thing you can do in preparation is to look at yourself, clear out any energies, thought patterns, attitudes, behaviours. Get rid of them because that space that you create by clearing these will be available for new things to move in.
Leo, this year for you will be focusing very much on transformation. The universe is asking that you be prepared to let your present self go so that you are able to reveal the new version of you to the world at large. It’s big stuff, but we’ve got big planets playing. As far as your career is concerned 2022 will be a busy time. It could feel as if you’re being swamped by all, however, the indications are strong for you to receive a number of improvements as a direct result of your dedication and hard work. Your sense of spirituality which I mentioned earlier, the indications are strong for you to find peace and happiness which you will find very helpful during those times when you are becoming stressed.
This year, there is so much astrological activity. There will be four eclipses: the first on the 20th of April, next on the 15th of May, the third On the 25th of October, and finally, on the 8th of November. Each of those, every single one, will involve your planetary ruler, the Sun. At these times, the universe will be asking that you go with the flow, make noticeable life changes, and it will all be within your reach.
On a personal level, you may find yourself revisiting issues from earlier in your life. This is not so that you become stuck in the past, but rather, you’re being encouraged to finally resolve them. That way, you will be free to move on without fear of them returning and bothering you in the future. As I mentioned before, 2022 may see your lifestyle changing. Just keep an eye on that because the indications are that the lifestyle you will choose could be less healthy for you. Just be aware, keep an eye on yourself.
Moving on to look at your tarot cards, we find the Knight of Swords. It shows that you are able to be unafraid of making decisions. But you should also guard against being too impetuous. Make sure that you take time to consider all options available to you and that you weigh up the pros and cons of each of those.
Moving on to your central card, we find the Seven of Wands and that that points to your ability to dig in your heels. You, perhaps at times, refuse to ease your position especially when it comes to matters of principle. Remember that compromises can often give a successful resolution and a win-win situation. Also, be sure to only fight battles that are worthy of your time and attention. You’re going to be busy with other stuff.
Finally, the Tower. Often thought to foretell impending disaster, but it’s not the only message that is carried by this card and I strongly feel that that is the case here. When considering all the astrological information and the messages that the Tower is passing on, you are being asked to prepare for sudden changes taking place in your life. The Tower also comes to prepare you by clearing out anything that no longer serves you. By doing this, this purging, you will make space for new things to enter your life and to have room for them to flourish. Okay, that’s 2022 in a nutshell for you, Leo.
